Covenant Soup Kitchen
www.covenantsoupkitchen.org
Realizing that people can be impoverished physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and culturally, as well as just from lack of money, the Isaiah 58 Ministry's mission is to address these needs by providing not only food, but an environment of care, love, support, and safety to those who come through the doors.

WAIM
www.waimct.org
Many members and friends of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield are actively involved with WAIM. W.A.I.M. stands for "Windham Area Interfaith Ministries". WAIM started in the basement of a local church in 1984. The intention of WAIM was to redistribute clothing to area people in need. The original intention has grown to include not only clothing, but furniture, home goods, energy assistance, and special programs throughout the year such as the Back-to-School New Clothes Project, Adopt-a-Family, and the Community Garden.
There is a collection container in the conference room for items being donated to WAIM. For more information on services or how to help, call (860) 456-7270.

Yellow Dot Program
alerts.nationalsafetycommission.com
The Yellow-Dot project aims to save lives by giving first-responders - police officers, firefighters and ambulance workers — quick access to a senior citizen's health history. The yellow dot in the car window signifies to these first-responders that the information is available in the glove compartment of the car.
Registration is free and conducted at our church (The First Baptist Church of Mansfield). There will be an informational coffee hour and sign-up on 9/25/2011.
